"These are amazing. Thank you so much for documenting our special day. These will help us to remember everything for a long, long time to come!" I knew as soon as we had our first cuppa together that I was going to be in for a visual treat with this wedding. Both Jen and Dan come from a theatrical background and had decided that they were going to stage a show to be remembered! As we left 2019 and leapt into 2020 they had fallen upon the perfect theme - a fabulous Gatsby-esque 1920s party thrown at the gorgeous Mill Barns in Alveley. Every last detail had been considered and there To View More >>

As you can well imagine being a wedding photographer generally means that your weekends are gone for most of the summer, but I've noticed a theme appearing in my diary for this year and next... Thursdays, Fridays and even Monday's and Tuesdays are being booked up. And why the heck not?! It's a fantabulous way of stretching the weekend or starting your week off with a bang! Incase you were wondering about the if's and buts, here's my list of positives for couples thinking about a weekday wedding; It's an easier way of getting married in the venue you want in the year you'd like...rather To View More >>
I love a Welsh Wedding, they are lush! Splitting my time between South Pembrokeshire and the Midlands as I do, the 'Grand Plan' is always to live in Pembs one day so anyone with a wedding down that way I will leap at the chance to come and hang out with you and yours and photograph your amazing celebrations. When Joe and Bethan's contacted me about their wedding at Canada Lodge and Lake just outside Cardiff I was super chuffed to say the least! As with all my brides and grooms we met up in person first and then kept in touch via email and spoke a couple more times before the wedding To View More >>
Katy and Ollie are like 99% of us - not sure at all about having their photograph taken! So we decided it would be a good idea to go for a stroll in Sutton park, get to know each other and let them get used to being trailed by a camera before their wedding day. Apparently they have shared all the funny 'outtakes' with friends and family (I love this!) But just to reassure everyone here are my favourite ones that aren't quite as crazy.... ok so a few of my fave funny looks have snuck in..... I couldn't quite resitst! If you speak to Katy nicely I'm sure she'll show you the rest To View More >>
So at the end of last year I photographed the gorgeous Helen and Chris on their wedding day. They chose St Peter's Church in Powick for their marriage ceremony, followed by the gorgeous and intimate Elmslie House for their reception. Elmslie House is a grade II listed family home where they open the ground floor to music events, craft fairs and other events including weddings! The large main area allowed for the guests to sit in long 'Harry Potter' style dining tables whilst there were still other areas to mooch off to for some quiet time. Despite it's age, the house To View More >>
